Rit/Me Aatxe killer fast!!
Hello, thought that its time to post my solo Aatxe build
The Armor:
Full Halycon armor(max enrg)
The Weapon:
A wand with 5 enrg
A focus 12 enrg 30 hp
u could also use a staff with similar stats
A longbow for pulling
The Skills:
1.Signet of Midnight[E]
You and target touched foe become Blinded for 15 seconds.
2.Mantra of inscirption
For 30...78 seconds, your Signet skills recharge 25...45% faster.
3.Epidemic
Transfer all negative Conditions and their remaining durations from target foe to all foes adjacent to your target.
4.Painfull bond
For 10...18 seconds, target foe and all nearby foes are hexed with Painful Bond and take 8...18 damage whenever hit by a Spirit's attack.
5.Bloodsong
[Create a level 1...7 Spirit who dies after 30...126 seconds. Attacks by that Spirit steal up to 5...21 Health.
6.Pain
Create a level 1...7 Spirit. This Spirit's attacks deal 5...25 damage. This Spirit dies after 30...126 seconds.
7.Displacement
Create a level 1...8 Spirit. Attacks made by all non-Spirit foes within its range are "evaded." Every time an attack is evaded in this way, this Spirit takes 60 damage. This Spirit dies after 30...54 seconds.
8.Shelter
Create a Level 1...7 Spirit. Non-Spirit allies within its range cannot lose more than 10% maximum Health from a single attack. When this Spirit prevents damage, it loses 75...51 Health. This spirit lasts 30...54 seconds.
The Attribute Points:
communing: 14
channeling: 10
spawning: 12(so that ur spirits will have more hp)
inspiration: the remaining points
Killing The Aatxes:
Take out the group to the right first, cast pain/bloodsong/displacment, at benton is a good place, u can put them on other places to if u want. After u cast the spirits use mantra of insciption and use a longbow for pulling only 2 Aatxes, if there is a patroling Aatxes wait for him pass. When u have fired of a arrow with ur bow back of a bit and stay next the wall of the stairs, cast Signet of Midnight on the first Aatxe who reach u, then use epidemic.
And cast painfullbond for more dmg. Watch out the hp on ur displacment if its about to reach 0, cast shelter or recast displacment if it has recharged. recast signet of midnight/epidemic if neccesary. 2 Aatxes should be dead in a min.Use the same tactics against the rest of the Aatxes
If there is 3 Aatxes in a group, cast pain/bloodsong/displacment pretty far away, and aproach the group then only 1 of them should be running towards u then kill him. If anything goes wrong u can run and use Benton as cover, then cast pain and as soon as pain attack the Aatxes will run away.
Killing The Nightmares:
If it spawns a nightmare when u are killing the Aatxes make ur spirits attack, by attacking it urself.
Always kill Nightmares first
Killing Grasping Darkness:
Same Tactics as Aatxes, no need of shelter
kill nightmares first if there is one in the group
Killing Obsidian Behemoths:
Very easy to kill
Cast Displacement, then enter agrorange and the Behemoths start to attack u,cast pain/bloodsong and exit agrorange behemoths dont attack ur spirits if u have exit agrorange, cast painfull bond for extra dmg. Ur spirits will interupt healing spring.

wow.
nice use of spirits spirits are almost perfect for the uw because there effects can't be striped.
um as all uw solo-ers know are there any rather desperate situations to look out for? like casting wrong skills at the wrong time? any specific thing i should look out for i mean ?
otherwise i like the constant blindness of the aataxe .
have you thought of using blindsong spirit or w/e its called?
i thought of using blindsong and fragility e management would suffer tho

This makes me REALLY want to level up my Ritualist.
But I have no doubt that the day I get the build up and running Anet will nerf it.

It can't be by a long shot. VwK goes directly to the smites, doesn't need to summon spirits, and does a lot more dps to a mob of smites. I think the only advantage of this build is that it can probably kill aataxes.

Nice build smites might be a little hard since they have a 90% chance to hit you if displacement falls and also painful bond will not work on them so it will be slower.

This must take painfully long, however, i love the idea. I currently run a VwK. I'll give this a shot when i can. Props for finding a Rit Build to kill the ataxes.

If you edit that post, there is a small button towards the bottom that says "Delete". Click it, and make sure the bubble for "delete this post" is filled, and just don't add a reason for deletion...poof, post gone.
I've been thinking about making a ritualist anyway for VwK and this, but it's gonna have to wait until the ranger stuff I'm working on right now is done (I had no idea it was this annoying to find time to write a decent guide).
